Coffee Chat with Faculty and General Body Meeting (December, 2025)

Dr. Chunsheng Wang is a Distinguished University Professor and a Fellow of the Electrochemical Society. He will be joining us to discuss his professional career and answer questions from our members.

Following our discussion with Dr. Wang, the current ECS board will be presenting some of our plans for the next year, as well as receiving feedback on future events and priorities for the chapter.

Maryland Day (April 25, 2026)

Maryland Day is a yearly event held to commemorate the formal founding of the colony of Maryland. Each year the university of Maryland opens its doors with events, demonstrations, and presentations to show the accomplishments of its students and alumni. UMD ECS student chapter will participate with some science labs and demonstrations.
